From fabric to garment: new expertise, even in a challenging market
The textile industry is going through a difficult period: demand has slowed, volumes have fallen and customer needs have changed. For us, addressing this situation has meant continuing to run our business: staying close to our customers, investing in our organisation and opening up new service opportunities.
In 2025, we expanded our logistics space with a new warehouse in Cucciago, obtained authorisation for an Approved Place and a Bonded Warehouse, and gained expertise in pattern making and prototyping through the acquisition of Daima. These decisions broaden our offering: today, we also support our customers in developing finished garments.
This is the foundation we continue to build on: our knowledge of fabrics, our ability to listen to customers and to adapt our service to the needs of the supply chain.
The Integrated Report 2025 tells the story of this journey: our financial results, organisational decisions, and the management of environmental and social matters.
The results of our choices and the work still to be done
The environment, people, suppliers and customers: these are the areas in which our everyday choices take shape. In the Integrated Report, we describe the activities carried out, the results recorded and the objectives we are still working towards.
The Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda provide a reference for identifying priorities relevant to our business. The document explores our links to these goals and provides the data needed to understand our progress.
Alongside a variety of fibres and compositions, we offer a range of fabrics called the ECO line, featuring certified products or products made from innovative fibres. The ECO line accounted for 82.6% of the meters sold in 2025. We are also committed to ensuring that at least 50% of the fabrics sold and purchased belong to the ECO line in future years.
New activities require skills, dialogue and attention to everyday work. In 2025, we continued our training and employee welfare initiatives and carried out an organisational climate survey. This is a process aimed at understanding people’s needs and supporting the Company’s development.
We aim to ensure that the environmental and social impacts of the production process are monitored and to limit the effects on ecosystems associated with sourcing raw materials. To this end, we continued our chemical risk management activities and worked on defining a formal supplier qualification process applicable to all suppliers, incorporating environmental and social aspects. We also join the 4sustainability® protocol, an implementation framework that guarantees sustainability performance of the fashion supply chain.
We aim to provide a quality product that lasts and meets customer expectations through the following actions:
- improving the traceability of products sold to guarantee their quality and safety
- implementing the ISO 9001:2015 management system.
Materials and certifications
Natural, recycled or next-generation fibres, different compositions and recognised standards: elements that define the characteristics and identity of every fabric.
Behind every fabric, a supply chain
Our relationships with suppliers, chemical risk management and the development of the qualification process, which we will adopt from 2026, help us gain a deeper understanding of our supply chain.
Connecting our work with the local area
People are our most important resource. We are committed to valuing them through a safe and inclusive work environment and initiatives that promote training, listening and dialogue. Our relationship with the local area takes shape through collaboration with universities and social organisations, such as LIUC University and the Cooperativa Sociale Il Mosaico di Bulgarograsso, and through support for projects that reflect the values we believe in.
