This page describes how the website www.lariotex.com (hereinafter “the Website”) operates and, also in accordance with EU Regulation 679/2016 (hereinafter “the Regulation”), information about the processing of personal data that is automatically collected or voluntarily provided by users by accessing, browsing and using the services on the Website is provided to users.

Browsing is free and does not require registration.

The privacy policy is provided only for the website and not for other websites accessed by the user via hyperlinks that may be present within the website. In fact, within the Website there may be hypertext links to third-party websites, pages or on-line services. By clicking on these links, the user will be able to access multimedia content that, being the exclusive property of the afore-mentioned subjects, is outside the control of Lariotex.

Types of data processed

Browsing Data (hereinafter referred to as “Data”)
In normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures involved in the operation of this Website acquire some personal browsing data which are implicitly transmitted when using Internet communication protocols. This information, which is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, by means of processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or the domain names of computers used by users to connect to the Website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the server response status (success, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and IT environment. 

These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check that it functions correctly. They can be used to identify anomalies and/or abuses at the request of the appropriate bodies. 
Browsing data will be stored on the website's hosting server, which is not accessible to the public, and shall not remain there for more than seven days (except where necessary for the judicial authority to investigate crimes).

Data provided by the user voluntarily 
There are no sections on the Website that require the provision of personal data.
The optional and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this Website entails acquiring the sender’s email address as well as any additional personal data voluntarily indicated in the relevant emails. These data will only be used for the purpose of finding the sender, they will be processed by internal staff authorised to process them, kept for the relative time strictly necessary and will not be disseminated in any way. 

Purposes of processing and legal bases 

The Data are processed for the following purposes and legal bases

  • PURPOSES: Allow browsing of the Website, check its proper operation, obtain anonymous statistical information on its use and ascertain liability in the event of computer crimes
  • LEGAL BASES: performance of the contract (art. 6.1(b) of the Regulation and in the legitimate interest of Lariotex art. 6.1(f) of the Regulation)
     
  • PURPOSES: Exercise and defence of Lariotex’s rights in any forum, including judicial, administrative, arbitration and/or mediation and conciliation procedures
  • LEGAL BASES: legitimate interest of Lariotex (art. 6.1(f) of the Regulation)

Nature of the provision of data

Browsing data are collected automatically.
The user is free to provide personal data by writing to the email addresses on the Website.

The Website uses only technical cookies to allow normal browsing.

Data processing procedures

The Data are processed by automated means, in compliance with legal provisions on the processing of personal data. Specific security measures are observed to prevent a data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
Data processing is managed by staff within the Company specially authorised, trained and instructed to ensure their adequate security and confidentiality, and to prevent the risk of loss and/or destruction and/or access by unauthorised persons.

Communication and dissemination of data

The Data may be disclosed to persons who have legal or regulatory legitimacy, such as:

  • Public and judicial authorities;
  • Companies responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems and the website, specifically appointed as Data Processors.

Data subject's rights 


The persons to whom the personal data relate have the right to exercise the rights provided for in the Regulation. In detail:

  • access, in the cases provided for (art. 15 Regulation);
  • rectification of inaccurate Data and the integration of incomplete Data (art. 16 Regulation);
  • erasure of Data for the intended reasons (art. 17 Regulation), such as when they are no longer necessary with respect to the purposes set out above or are not processed in accordance with the Regulation;
  • processing restricted for the scenarios envisaged (art. 18 Regulation), as in case where the accuracy of the Data is contested, and the correctness of the Data needs to be verified; 
  • portability, i.e. the right to receive, in the cases provided for (art. 20 Regulation), in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, the Data and to transmit such Data to another controller; 
  • object to processing, in the cases provided for (art. 21 Regulation).

All the rights listed above may be exercised by sending Lariotex an email notification to privacy@lariotex.com or by registered letter to the company’s registered office address.

Complaint

If the users considers that the processing of the personal data infringes the provisions of the Regulation, they have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority as provided for in art. 77 of the Regulation itself. 

Transfer of Data abroad

The Data is stored at Lariotex's registered office and on servers located in the European Union.
